About the Role:
DC PEARLS DENTAL BOUTIQUE is looking for a talented and dedicated and experienced Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Washington, DC! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled dental team in a patient-focused environment where your expertise and passion for oral health truly make a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patient visits
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in the dental software system
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory, order dental supplies, and maintain equipment
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a comfortable, welcoming experience from check-in to checkout
Requirements:
- Active Dental Assistant license in Washington, DC (required)
- Experience in a dental office or clinical setting preferred 5 + Years
- Proficiency in dental radiography and X-ray certification
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization protocols, and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Compensation: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
